History of Polson Community Church
In June 1993, forty-two adults felt led to form a new church family. The first service was held on June 3, 1993. Originally called the Wesley Group, on October 14, 1993 the name was officially changed to Polson Community Church and recognized by the State of Montana. Services were held at the Polson Masonic Lodge and Polson Senior Center.
Groundbreaking for the present building took place on July 21, 2001 and dedicated on May 19, 2002. The building was expanded to include the social hall in January 2007 with parking lot expansion in 2015. Members of the congregation worked many hours to make it look like it does and a lot of love and sweat went into this church home but it was all on God’s name and to him we give all the honor and glory.
